NUTN held ‘the First National Contest of the Idols of Gods’ under guidance of the Ministry of Education on October 26. There were 23 god idol teams and art teams to compete. Those who won the top three places in the competition entered the tense final round of competition at seven in the afternoon that day. ‘God Idols’ represents one type of falk culture in Taiwan and local history. The variety of local sports were also shown through this competition. The community people were welcome to come to know that exercise and sports. NUTN hopes traditional falk cultures to be promoted generation by generation.
